Expogrande fatura mais de R$ 570 milhões e gera cerca de 5 mil empregos diretos e indiretos – CGNotícias
Os números da maior feira agropecuária de Mato Grosso do Sul superaram todas as expectativas. Em 11 dias, a Expogrande movimentou R$ 576.801.968,00, valor cinco vezes maior que o registrado no ano passado, quando o evento cravou uma arrecadação de R$ 110 milhões. Só de empregos gerados foram cerca de 5 mil, somados os diretos e indiretos.
Só de público a feira recebeu em torno de 114 mil pessoas. “No ano passado tivemos uma média de 103 mil pessoas durante os 11 dias da Expogrande, então tivemos um sensível aumento no tamanho do público”, compara o presidente da Acrissul (Associação dos Criadores de Mato Grosso do Sul), entidade promotora da exposição, Guilherme Bumlai.
Os dados mostram mais uma vez que grandes eventos são verdadeiros catalisadores para o desenvolvimento econômico ao atrair multidões, mas também deixar um legado significativo de empregos, geração de renda e arrecadação local.
“Antes mesmo de um evento começar, há uma demanda crescente por trabalhadores em setores diversos, como hotelaria, turismo, transporte, segurança e serviços de alimentação. Durante a fase de preparação, as empresas locais frequentemente aumentam sua equipe para lidar com o aumento esperado no volume de negócios”, aponta o secretário adjunto da Secretaria Municipal de Inovação, Desenvolvimento Econômico e Agronegócio, Pedro Espíndola.
Outro impacto é a projeção de Campo Grande com os países estrangeiros que visitaram a feira. O próprio Estande da PrefCG recebeu paraguaios, argentinos, chilenos e europeus. A presidente da Empresa Portuária de Iquique, Magdalena Balcells González, por exemplo, explicou que eles estão interessados em fortalecer a região de Tarapacá, e especialmente, o Porto de Iquique, e Campo Grande, vem ao encontro desse projeto, por ser a Capital da Rota Bioceânica.
“Queremos ser o destino mais conveniente para a carga dos produtores de Mato Grosso do Sul, para que os empresários daqui possam se conectar com mercados da Ásia e da costa do Pacífico. Campo Grande é fundamental neste processo para podermos fortalecer os vínculos e podermos ter acesso à riqueza de produtos que temos e levar para outros locais a partir do Pacífico”, disse Magdalena Balcells.
A Prefeitura de Campo Grande lançou um guia de importação e exportação na feira, dando o passo a passo para quem quer vender para outros países ou trazer produtos de fora para cá. A iniciativa visa tirar os estigmas de quem quer importar e exportar, mostrando as vantagens econômicas ao permitir o acesso a uma variedade maior de produtos e serviços, além do alcance de novos mercados e base de clientes, impulsionando o crescimento e gerando mais receita. Só com os países da Rota Bioceânica esse marcado soma mais de 20 milhões de consumidores.
A prefeita Adriane Lopes destacou o comércio internacional e pontuou que o estande da Prefeitura se tornou, desde o último ano, um espaço de negócios. “Mais uma vez a Prefeitura participa da Expogrande e nesses 11 dias de muito trabalho, esse espaço veio para impactar a economia da Capital com grandes encontros, palestras, workshops, trocas de experiências e conexões”, concluiu.
