Semana do Pescado ultrapassa expectativa de vendas e fortalece comercialização de produtos da agricultura familiar
Quem deixou para comprar o peixe no último dia da Semana do Pescado, realizada desde quarta-feira (27) pela Prefeitura de João Pessoa, através da Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Urbano (Sedurb), não ficou sem o produto. Consumidores de várias localidades compareceram à Central de Comercialização da Agricultura Familiar (Cecaf), no bairro do José Américo, para aproveitar a diversidade de produtos vendidos no espaço a preços acessíveis.
O secretário de Desenvolvimento Urbano, Rodrigo Trigueiro, comemorou o sucesso de vendas em mais uma edição do evento, e disse que a iniciativa é importante para aquecer o segmento, gerando renda e oportunidades para os comerciantes. Segundo Rodrigo Trigueiro, o volume de vendas alcançado este ano superou o do ano passado. “A Semana do Pescado deste ano foi, mais uma vez, um grande sucesso de público e vendas. Conseguimos, inclusive, superar a nossa expectativa de vendas que era de oito toneladas de pescados”, afirmou.
O diretor da Cecaf, Roberto Filho, disse que a Semana do Pescado é uma iniciativa consolidada junto à população, que se desloca de vários pontos da cidade para garantir o peixe comercializado na Central. “Mais uma vez um grande público compareceu à Cecaf, nos fazendo ultrapassar a nossa expectativa de vendas para este ano”, observou.
Preços acessíveis e qualidade são diferenciais – A aposentada Marinalva Ferreira, moradora dos Bancários, disse que todos os anos não deixa de comprar o peixe na Semana do Pescado, na Cecaf. Ela contou que, além de aproveitar os preços acessíveis e a qualidade dos produtos, ainda ajuda a fortalecer os empreendedores que participam da iniciativa realizada pela Sedurb.
“Vale muito a pena, todos os anos estou aqui comprando meu peixe para a Semana Santa. Gosto de vir aqui, pois além da variedade e os preços mais acessíveis, ajudo também esses comerciantes, então acaba sendo uma via de mão dupla, uma parte ajuda a outra”, comentou.
Comerciantes- Há quatro anos comercializando seus produtos na Semana do Pescado, Venâncio Ramos disse que até o final da manhã deste sábado (30) já tinha vendido cerca de 700 quilos de peixe.
Venâncio revelou que os peixes mais procurados este ano pela população foram o atum e meca. “Tínhamos atum de R$ 22 e R$ 30, enquanto que o meca custava R$ 45, o quilo. Esse já é o quarto ano que vendo peixes aqui na Semana do Pescado, e o resultado sempre é muito satisfatório”, disse.
