Sabesp realiza audiência pública em São José

Na tarde desta terça-feira (27), a Sabesp realizou audiência pública em São José dos Campos para a apresentação do plano regional de desestatização, com investimentos de R$18.6 bilhões no Vale do Paraíba até 2060.
A audiência aconteceu no Parque Tecnológico de São José dos Campos e foi organizada pela Urea Sudeste – Unidade Regional de Serviço de Abastecimento de Água Potável e Esgotamento Sanitário, com apresentação feita pela secretária de Meio Ambiente, Infraestrutura e Logística do Estado de São Paulo, Natália Resende.
Segundo o plano regional, o contrato proposto em desestatização prevê aportes de R$ 5 bilhões para universalização do saneamento básico em cidades da região do Vale do Paraíba, incluindo o Litoral Norte até 2029, que conta com 28 cidades atendidas.
Em São José dos Campos, a regularidade no abastecimento de água nos bairros mais distantes do centro será garantida com a desestatização da Sabesp. Haverá ampliação dos sistemas do Jardim das Indústrias, Jardim Satélite – Morumbi, Altos de Santana e Capuava.
Investimentos
As obras previstas para levar água potável e coleta e tratamento de esgoto para toda a população foram definidas com as prefeituras. Ao longo dos últimos meses, a discussão conjunta da proposta identificou áreas prioritárias e estabeleceu ações para alcançar a universalização do saneamento nos municípios.
Os R$ 18,6 bilhões previstos até 2060 serão aplicados da seguinte forma:
- R$ 2 bilhões na expansão da rede de tratamento e distribuição de água
- R$ 7,1 bilhões na modernização da rede de distribuição de água
- R$ 2,5 bilhões na expansão da rede de coleta e tratamento de esgoto
- R$ 4,3 bilhões na melhoria da rede de coleta e tratamento de esgoto
- R$ 2,7 bilhões em inovação, eficiência energética e outros serviços
A consulta pública sobre o novo contrato de concessão a partir da desestatização da Sabesp teve início no último dia 15 de fevereiro. Pessoas físicas ou jurídicas têm 30 dias para enviar suas contribuições, até 15 de março, por meio do site: https://semil.sp.gov.br/desestatizacaosabesp/.
